Unfortunately, that does not help

The only solution so far is making the object a bit transparent through Opacity map

Can you share more info? Do you just mean the sunlight should affect objects on the other side of the object with the Light Material, or do you mean you want the sun disk visible through the Light Material object (if you were looking at it). A look at the image along with a description of what you want to achieve would help here.

seems like you're trying to do non-physical things here... and thus have contradicting ideas.

If you have a light source that is visible, of course you can't see things behind it... that's just not how things work.

Sometimes to minimise the post work I put the proper sky background in the scene as a CoronaLightMtl
I see now that the CoronaSun position does not reflect the physical position of the sun but rather serves to define the light direction (yes, that's the reality)
So, to get the sun visibility together with the Bloom and Glare effect I have to make the background transparent a little bit or to put the Corona Sphere light in front of the background
Just wondering if there are more options )

If the Corona Light Mtl emits light, that would be very bad for performance. Couldn't you just use a Direct Visibility override to put the background into the image?
