Today we're glad to publish the results of our internal competition among artists -
OM G  Battle. It's already our 4th battle, which happened among our Team. These are non-commercial works that artists do for fun on a particular theme.
This time “The 4th dimension” was the theme of this battle, but we didn't limit the artists in their stretch of the imagination and didn't ask them to stay within the limits of this theme.

So someone presented it as a transition to the real-world from the “online life”, and another one imaged the world is hidden under the canvas of plastic.

To make the battle more interesting, we create additional conditions for participants with easter egg. The work must contain the number 4, the Omegarender's logo or a reference to the new year. Take a closer look at these works, what can you see? W

WINNER - The Japanese garden | Yudjin Chernopisskiy
The winner took a very interesting approach in this work and depicted the past in the foreground and the future in the background. The main concept of this work was to show the idea of a smooth change of color from the front to the back. So there is a transition from green to red, then to orange, and finally to pink. Such an idea gives the picture harmony and some kind of integrity.

TEAM's CHOICE - The plastic world | Eugene Mironenko
There is an additional award in the battle, the team' s Award. Each member of the Omegarender team can vote for the best work (except for the one that has already taken the grand prize). This time the winner was Eugene Mironenko, with his work, about a plastic curtain behind which hides something unknown and unrestrained (the left one). The audience also appreciated "Reflection" by Yurii Pakhomov (right one).

Below works from other participant (Yulia Kalemi, Vitaly Charushin, Stacy Volnayans, Yauheni Doroshkevich, Roman Derevianko).

Nice to see
But when Photoshop goes into 3D designs, I can't call it 3D design
A complete 3D design can be made with objects similar to this in Photoshop
Unfortunately there are 3D professionals who do this
It's easy to do anything in Photoshop
But the difficulty is in 3D design

A complete architectural design can be made with objects similar to this in 3ds Max
Unfortunately there are architectural professionals who do this in 3ds Max
It's easy to do anything in 3ds Max
But the difficulty is in architecture
