Some people were asking about sample scene. The original sample scene i made will be distributed once Corona enters beta phase, but i have scrambled some of the furniture from it, created a few new ones and put together another simple scene.

In following days, i will create another video tutorial, which will cover lighting, surfacing, and render setup of this scene. With the release tutorial, i will also make this scene available for everyone to try out things i will be showing in the tutorial, and this scene could be also useful as a Corona benchmark scene.

I will try to release the tutorial as soon as possible ;)

That looks great,

The lamp is missing a power cord :)

Is the White picket fence 3D or background map ?

I really like the light mood in it, can you sahre some info for now? Corona newbie here =)

Also, the rug looks great, just texture and displacment/bump or something else?

Cheers!

I plan on doing a tutorial using that scene. I just did not get to it...  but i will...  hopefully, one day... :D

Texture is subdivided box with displace modifier on top of it and texture with strong bump :)

I am totally new to this, but loving corona already, Can I ask how you balanced the lighting temperature, was this by changing the kelvin of the lights or the white balance kelvin in the exposure control?.

Thanks.
