[C4D] General Discussion / Cinema 4d lights
« on: 2018-09-03, 22:53:06 »
Hello everyone, I hope you are very well.
I'm writing for a doubt.
When using the Corona motor, you can also use cinema lights
like infinite lights, ..... etc.?
Or only Corona lights should be used.
Thanks for your reply

I also agree that Mograph achieves more realism.
Here is a sample I made with drops of water and ice

Here's a "little" Scene I'm working on. This is a perfect example of needing volume density control for clouds :) These clouds are modeled meshes with displacement.

Also, Arnold is killing me with render times on another project. All I need to never use Arnold again is... Full Volumetric support, Fisheye camera, basic X-particles support :)

Thanks guys Corona is the best!!!

Do you use Arnold to render the whole image ??
I can give you an idea, I do not know if your project is animation or just an image.
If it is an image, you can do the following.
Render with Arnold only the clouds, in transparent background.
Use Corona for the whole landscape and in photoshop you place the rendered clouds.

You can use this trick while Corona develops render for particles

Hello,  beanzvision
it would be nice to have the hair parameters you used
for your carpet.
Can you share them?

Hello friends.
I wanted to know if we can already have this type of hair finish with Corona?

Hi guys. While ago i made this exterior scene using free HDRi maps from Viz-People. Now, some time later i tried to render it again and this is what i get now, no visible shadows, no lights, i mean you can see the difference. I'm using Beta - 1 version now. The previous one was some daily build version. The good one is with a little bit of post work.

I'm interested in your case, because the same thing happened to me.
you could pass your file to the Corona team to see
why the same hdri but in Beta 2 drastically changes the lighting.
Thank you

I think it's best that you pass the file to the Corona team
for them to do tests and thus give us a solution

Yes, I sure did not explain well that it was a
free sample, if not, I think I would not have mounted it so that
anyone would get it.
My language is Spanish, and I have to use the translator to
write in the forum.
Surely it does not translate well and in some cases it is not well explained
ha ha ha ha ha ha

anyway!! It's good that the subject is taken again.
very attentive to see the solution.

Thanks for the data to download free hdri
regards

A few days ago I also wrote about this problem, with HDRI de Viz, but !!
They deleted the theme because I passed a free hdri from the same page,
But I think that you can not do that around here.
I hope you can fix the problem and see here what is the solution
We deleted it? I'm lost..

Yes..
I received an email where they told me that I could not ride the hdri de viz.
I explained that it was of a smaller size and that it was the free sample.
but they told me that I could not place.
So I asked that they delete it.
And I had to solve with Vray.

Although in the same way it did not remain as it is seen in the sample of the product

Amazing and the rendering time is fast.
I can already make carpets with this type of finish.
Thank you very much friends, excellent work.
Would you mind to share a scene or your setup?
I am new to hair in C4d... I tried this without success....some help would be much appreciated.

Hello
if I gladly share the file
I have no experience with hair and I still do not understand the
Corona hair material, but !! playing a little you can get
good results

[C4D] General Discussion / sRGB / LINEAL
« on: 2018-08-06, 18:26:00 »
Hello friends, I hope you are very well.
Here I come with a great doubt, which I have read but I am still confused.

In cinema 4D the color profile that comes by default is sRGB
As I understand for better results you should work to LINEAL profile

This works well with Vray, I wanted to know if it's the same with Corona?

My question is: should I leave the color profile that brings 4D cinema or change it to Lineal?

Here I show you 2 scenes with the different color profiles using Corona.
the post parameters are the same, only the color profile was changed

Thank you very much for your help
regards
