[C4D] General Discussion / Lights C4D
« on: 2018-11-02, 17:08:22 »
Hello team.
I bring you a doubt.
When using C4D lights is there the possibility of being able to manipulate the shadows?
always come out with a hard cut, I would like them to be soft
The lus I'm using is focus light

I have also found that if you switch cameras during IR then all the camera settings (tone mapping, LUT etc) reset to default.

This has only happened a couple of times but I thought I was going mad until I realised the issue.

I believe that the values of the tone mapping, LUTS, ..... etc belong to the camera in which those adjustments are made, if you change the camera you must apply them again.
I think it's like that ... right?

Hi, how are you?
I hope that very good!!
I am writing to see if you can help me.
In several scenes when the lines are tilted in both textures
as in edges, a jagged result comes out.
How can i fix this?

Thank you

[C4D] General Discussion / Re: Longitud Focal
« on: 2018-09-28, 15:29:04 »
Hi, thanks for answering, that work was urgent and has already been delivered.
the camera that gave the problem was removed.
another camera with another focal length and another shot angle was set to avoid
that problem.
But it's not the first time it happens, neither does it happen all the time
when I have another scene with that problem I pass it
Thank you

Greetings team, I hope you are very well.
I am writing to you about a problem with the camera that I have had for some time
wear corona.
I wanted to know what I can do about it.
This is a job where the focal length is 50
but when rendering is not what you see in the program.

I hope for your comments
Thank you

I think that note came earlier in the information of the
material.
I really have not read the new information, I think it has changed
my mistake was not to read, and to think that the previous information was maintained

Of course, the noise with the HDR is greater than using corona sky.
Now I understand and you are right about the illumination of the sky is uniform and by
that less noise.
However!! I have not done tests with portals in HDR because as I told you
in the notes it came out that it should only be used with sky.
since you tell me that if it can be used in the same way with HDR I'll do tests
thank you very much

before they said that the light portals only
could be used with Corona skies and not with HDR
that's why it was my confusion.
However, I've still used them with HDR because I forgot to remove them
but!! likewise the noise was greater with HDR than with crown sky

It is very simple to see what I say.
in an indoor scene with one or two light inputs, (windows)
illuminate with a Corona sky and put portals of light.
Do another test with an HDR remove the light portals
and you will see an increase in noise.
What I want to know if there is a way to not have as much noise with an HDR

Hello friends.
I have a doubt when I shine with Sky and with hdri.

For interior lighting when using sky we know that the portals
of light help to reduce the noise and the render time is short.

But!! when using HDRI sky the lighting portals do not work
to reduce the noise.
In this case we can do to not have so much noise and
download render time?
