That would be great indeed!

Both solutions sound reasonable and nice. :) Thanks.

I've got the same problem with the latest Corona build. I am using an Xpresso setup aswell, but i need to keep it. Is there any way to solve that bug?
If i delete the Xpresso Tag, it works. But thats obviously not the solution i'm searching for. ;)

Vertex Trees 01 are not available also for 3ds Max & Corona.

They are ready to render. If you buy the bundle, a package for ForestPack Pro installation is included (Thanks RolandB =)).

We kind of invented our own vertex workflow to ensure the 3 most important requirments for good trees:
- variety for the whole trunk without using huge maps
- which leads to efficient render performance
- and still have high surface quality

You can use one material for all trees without losing their uniqueness.
Get them at: www.gumroad.com/darstellungsart

Looking great! It would be awesome if you can make more trees collections, as we are lacking nice trees asset.

Thank you. There will be definitely more of them. Next ones will be probably younger and smaller trees.

Corona is still the best renderer of them (even though working without note editors is a bit annoying). :D
We will have the node editor at some point. :)

Thats great! :)

You think you could work on an automatic installation with Forest Pack pro ?
Great work anyway, these trees are wonderful !

What do you mean by "automatic installation"? Integrated FP maps for variation?

Unfortunately other renderers, not Corona. But Corona is still the best renderer of them (even though working without note editors is a bit annoying). :D

[Max] General Discussion / IR + DR possible?
« on: 2017-11-08, 01:44:54 »
Hi guys,

i didn't use Corona for about 1 1/2 years, so sorry for the Noobquestion:
Is it possible to render interactive with additional render slaves?

I'm asking because I'm thinking about to switch to Corona (again). At the moment i am using GPU rendering and really need the fast live feedback. Sure, it is nonsense to compare CPU with GPU rendering, but leaving aside the costs: Is it possible to reach speed like 2x1080 Ti at GPU rendering? (Or even better?^^)

Sorry for the incomparable case, but maybe you coul'd make a guess.

Hi guys. Unfortunately i'm a bit busy at the moment. I will try to convert them for C4D as soon as possible. So i hope they are available in early August. :)

Normally you would sculpt your landscapes in Cinema 4D. So you could start with the base plane, cut it with the 8cm grid and then sculpt it. Then you could compare our base ground with your landscape and just use a multiplier for the scatter amount (compare polycounts of both surfaces).

If you get it from another app it is hard to get it right, yes. What you could try: Somehow (with a script?) measure the surface area of your imported landscape, compare it with our asset plane and use a multiplier for the scattering again.

No Problem. ;)

Example: You got a huge plane, that consists just of 1 polygon.

1) take the knife tool
2) choose the plane mode
3) choose the plane axis you want to cut
4) type in the amount of cuts and the spacing (our ground plane had a spacing of 8x8cm)
5) cut your plane in both axis, then you got the perfect grid (read the "how to use" file ;))
