This is just a simple scene with minimal interaction (changing the walls color). Would be glad if you walk around and leave your opinion.

The project is done for learning, so optimization wasn't the main goal here.

The build archive can be downloaded from my website:

we are talking about physical correctness?
That we have a physically correct?
PBR materials?
Level of reflection? IOR reflection? (These variables can be found in physics?)
So why cut gamma?

we need a flexible tool !!!! not fake.... flexibility and now needs a post processing !!!

When I came back to my inbox and saw 5 emails from the same name, I just deleted them because I thought it was some crazy spam. I will add the machine, but I need to know the email registered with the first licence.

I send request from the email registered with the first licence.
thanks!

Work in Progress/Tests / Re: testing fixed blend
« on: 2014-07-28, 11:18:33 »
It's not fixed. It's actually more broken than it was before ;)
yes, blends can not fix because it is broken at the base
but now reflection are cleaned from the noise much better

Work in Progress/Tests / testing fixed blend
« on: 2014-07-28, 11:08:24 »
Hi. New Blend works very well. But reflections are cleaned from noise very quickly and highlights are still very noisy in complex Blend material((
simple scene (plane, teapot and 8 light)
1 picture - blend in blend  (create GGX BRDF) - 400 passes - very noisy highlight.
2 picture - a simple blend - less noise
3 picture - a simple mat - almost no noise
4 picture - blend in blend 1k passes - still noisy

render settings - default, image filter - off

Corona Renderer Alpha 4 benchmark scene
 Living room 100 passes
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5650 @ 2.67GHz
Time: 0:3:29, Rays/s: 6,086,865

hi. is your xeons overclocked before testing?

11
build from 17.09
i7-2600K@4.9
time 11.29 min
ray/s 4.565.224

12
Couple xeons 56xx OC series in cinebench give more than 20 pts
In corona benchmark they speed comparable to 3930K @ 4,7 GHz (which gives in cinebench 14 pts)
Why?
Test this simple scene in A5 (100 passes)
or
build from 17.09 (100 passes)
3dsmax 2011-14

Corona Renderer Alpha 4 benchmark scene

Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2680 0 @ 2.70GHz

very good
benchmark can upgrade to the A5?
error in this benchmark is confusing.
because there are many tests for dual-socket systems, and there is no growth.
it is impossible to compare and choose the new workstation

Hi.
When Ondra added support for photometric lights I decided to compare lumens with CoronaLightPoint

it turns out that one coronaLightPoint is 3.72 lumen

maru: that does not make sense yet, because there is no physical camera

Yes, but I decided to find out.
if the exposure compensation (EX) = 0 which parameters can be in a real camera?
having as a reference photometric lumens
downloading maxwell
I set the intensity to 476 lumens (128 CoronaLighPoint)

EX increase on 1 increases the shutter speed by half

so if you take the f/stop(5.6) and ISO(100) as a constant, then EX = 0 gives a shutter speed 1/4s

the same with the ISO if the increase is three times the shutter speed and reduce the ISO three times will be the same result

These are my thoughts and decided to share. :)
