Greetings, im working on a animation where i have small dot lights scattered on my background (left side). Im having a problem where the dots looks like rendered above the geometry which causes flickering when i use blur combined with zdepth, we can see the majority of the dot blurred but we still watching part of it as it is. Any fix to this?
Here are 2 images, one is raw render other is camera blur applied on zdepth pass.

Hello ive been trying to recreate Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon album cover art, if you dont know the backside of the album has the reversed dispersion on it, merging all the colors in a single white ray, so that would create a loop with the front side.
After a few tests i could achieve the dispersion of the white ray into the colors but i cant merge them, what am i missing here? Is this possible to recreate?

[Max] I need help! / Backburner error

Hello im working on a new architecture animation with my studio mates, sadly we started recording an error only on a specifici scene of the animation, all others scenes have been rendering without any issues.
I already merged into a new scene and clear the opld scene but nothing seems to work, we are starting to worry as our deadline is coming on a near future, im not sure if this is corona related but i hope you can help me.
plus if i try to render on local machine it always crashes

Hello I'm working on a new project it was modeled by a member of our team, I opened the project to work the light and then the file was freezing every time I click on my viewport while the interactive was running, if I wait like 10min or so the interactive starts rendering, it's really frustrating cause every time I want to change somthing I have to stop interactive and it's a pain  while working light..

Update: I think its mainly when i click on a camera name and try to change camera, it instantly freezes my interactive and max

[Max] I need help! / Backburner VS DR RAM usage

Hello everyone, ive been working on a very big architecture project of a district. it has like 7 buildings with a lot of shops and people.
I know that i should cut and use low poly models for things that are relative far from camera so i can save some RAM usage.
The problem im having is really weird. If i send my renders trough backburner with DR activated only 2 of our nodes can render it because of RAM usage. (those 2 has 48GB the other 8 has 24GB)
Altough if i deativate DR and send trought backburner to one of those nodes with 24GB and make the render only on that node it only spends like 14GB.
The same goes for the 48GB nodes, i noticed with DR they go up to 60GB because of Virtual memory when i send trough backburner with DR deativated its spending 15GB.
This makes no sense, i know that 24GB isnt that much we are about to upgrade it but still no logic that from backburner it spends much less memory.
What should i do? The deadline is coming and im a bit worried bout our renders. I feel like on VRay the renders were much faster, i noticed that Corona denoiser and render elements spends way to much RAM, but we need some render elements for post production and the denoiser so it doesnt have much noise, so i cant cut that much on those things.

Hello everyone, im working on a small studio we changed from VRAY to Corona some months ago, we are kinda struggling with those render times, in average corona almost needs the double amount of time for rendering than VRAY did. This is a problem for us because we have some clients that likes to changes things before their meetings with clients.
We tested several things and we see how different are render times according to denoising mode selected.
I attached an excel file with some tests.
We think it mainly due to our 1GB local network but im not sure, VRAY was using same network and renders dont take so long.
We would like to have some help from support because we can be doing something wrong, otherwise we have to swap back to VRAY because we cannot estimate  render times its looking so random.

Hello i wonder if theres any way to check what object(s) or lights are increasing the render times. It would be really helpful so we could focus on improving those particular objects instead having to check the entire scene. Thanks

Hello everyone im working on a company for almost 2 years now as architecture visualizer. We were using VRay till half year ago then we moved to corona, we like a lot to work with it, its a really faster process overall and we would like to keep using it, but we getting a lot of trouble when rendering scenes. Overall all scenes seems to render 2 times slower than VRay used to, thats a big problem. Beside that we have a lot of issues with DR. A lot of times happens that parsing scene lasts forever and also a connection fail loop and it was evberything working nicely on VRay. We have 3 licenses with 4 DR nodes each license, but we are thinking to go back to VRay if theres no solution to this slow renders. As around the web we cant find solution for our problem im here to ask for help so we can keep using this engine that i actually love the workflow but its extremely slow when compared to VRay renders. Hello ive been using this script http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/imagecomphelper for a while, now im working on max 2020 and the script menu doesnt popup i tried in 2017 and it does work, i probably removed the menu by mistake and cant get it back, any clue how to reset this menu? thanks everyone.

Hello everyone, i work in an archviz 3D studio for almost 2 years, almost everything i know i learn across the internet but of course i know that im missing some basics.
I never had any photographic lessons and i struggle the moment of choosing a camera lense and image format. Is there any rules for using a specific lens at a specific place? where can i learn about this? thanks everyone and sorry for the basic question

Hello, how you guys doing?
Today i started playing with CFractal feature, i dont know nothing about this feature, ive been searching around for a while but cant find much info :/
The only way i can get some results its when i use Mandelbulb, Mandelbox and Texmap doesnt seem to work for me what am i doing wrong?
ive seen this post: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=17.0 i want to achieve things like this, but i cant have such irregular surfaces with a lot of holes like this images.
this is what i have, i know my formula power its to high thats why it look so "spheric"

Hello, ive been using corona for like 1 month. Ive been loving it, altohugh my boss loves clean lighting renders where there is no sun but just light, the problem is that i cant reach the result that he wants to, ive tried severous hdris, only sky map (without sun), sun, daylight system, etc,.. but i cant find how to do it.
how to do such a lighting like this? there is no sun and the scene has much lighting
