Hi guys,

i didn't use Corona for about 1 1/2 years, so sorry for the Noobquestion:
Is it possible to render interactive with additional render slaves?

I'm asking because I'm thinking about to switch to Corona (again). At the moment i am using GPU rendering and really need the fast live feedback. Sure, it is nonsense to compare CPU with GPU rendering, but leaving aside the costs: Is it possible to reach speed like 2x1080 Ti at GPU rendering? (Or even better?^^)

Sorry for the incomparable case, but maybe you coul'd make a guess.

Hi, i started an interior scene and since today im having inexplicable noise.
So i tested everything in a new scene, and suddenly there was noise too...

An Interior normally should not take this long:



Even the testscene is bugging.


You can have a look at the testscene.

I set up everyhing as usual and i have no clue, why since today it is bugging.
I already installed an older corona version, its still not working.

Can you help me please? Unfortunately it is very urgent.

I loaded an image sequence into my C4D material. When i render the single frames in the viewport, everything is working. But when i try to render them in the picture viewer nothing is happening. It is always rendering frame 1. Is this a known bug?

[Max] I need help! / translucent glass huge rendertime

I dont need help for creating the translucent glass, i could need some advices how i can optimise the render speed in my scene.
If i click render, at the moment corona is precalculating about 5 minutes, which is way too much. I already checked if there are any overlapping/superimposed polygons, but the meshes are clean.
Could it help to place a portal light? (I guess not, since they are for small windows only, and my facade is completly open)

Do you have any idea how to improve the rendertime?


The setup looks like this:


green lines are translucent glasses
blue lines transparent ones. (obvious)

There are like 4 IES lights in the ceiling and one normal HDRi outside.

Hi there, i've got some problems figuring out how to correctly set up a fabric material in C4D. I try to use a fresnel or a falloff as mask in a blend material. The top material has more reflection and the bottom one nearly none. Also tried it with a fusion shader. Is this the right direction or am i just failing? It looks just crappy. ;)

What is your approach?

Im probably going to ask a super stupid question, so dont punch me in the face please. ;)

Im trying to render out a foam material:


This image is a fast preview render from a close viewpoint. You can see the displaced surface - everything is fine.

When i go to the final camera and render it out in 4K it looks like this:



Sorry, if the problem is not evident, but the resolution of this surface is simply not high enough, no matter what resolution i take.
Is it maybe no matter of resolution? Is it more a sampling issue? What can i do?

€: Oh any by the way: Already tried to increase the material sampels.

I tried some C4D procedural noises, but i cant achieve this 3D structure.

Hi there, is there a workflow like the clipping planes for 3ds in cinema 4d? I need to cut a complex model without booling it. (it would probably cause my pc to crash...) Camera clipping isnt supported yet. :/

Hi there, i just started playing around with Corona. (and i love it)
Here is my first private project. As you can see i am trying to recreate Jurai Talcics (or Jessica Vedels?) "Parisian apartment".
What do you think about the lighting and the texturing so far? Is it too dark for a raw output? No Photoshop done yet.



€: Okay, now i see its pretty dark, just did some postwork:



Is it "ok" to manipulate exposure so hard in the post? Or do you try to get it as bright as possible out of the raw rendering?
