The mood in these images is perfect! I love the lighting and all the small details in the shaders/models.

Forest environment is sick! Bike looks nice too. Thank you for sharing this inspirational artwork.

Thanks! I spent quite a lot of time refining the forest environment, trying to capture the sense of warm calmness, a feeling that I can perceive during early morning summer rides in the mountains.

I saw these and ended up buying the Case Study Houses book. very good value at €18 online.
Some great designs.
I wonder has anybody built any of these designs with modern material.
The kitchen is always a seperate room in those days, now is integrated more to everyday life.
I had come across them before  but your images are great.
God is in the detail as they say.
Well done.

Thanks! I'm happy to hear that my images inspired you to buy the book.

This is my third 3D bike project, after the first Gravel Dream Build https://www.behance.net/gallery/109518307/Virtual-Dream-Bike-Build and the MV Agusta e-bikes https://www.behance.net/gallery/125037897/MV-Agusta-E-Mobility-AMO-RC

I'm super fond of these projects because they helped me to switch from my previous arch-viz job to the bike industry.

About two years ago, I ordered at the local bike shop my dream MTB, the Santacruz Nomad V5.

Since there was a long wait before receiving it, I decided to create the 3D version, modelling the bike based on the photos available online.
Once I got the real bike I refined the model and started the virtual photo shoot.
I made two scenarios, a sci-fi setting and this virtual bike park with ramps and wooden structures. This is the ideal habitat for this kind of bike.

To see the entire set of images check my Behance project: https://www.behance.net/gallery/135707941/Santacruz-Nomad-V5-Virtual-Bikepark

Enjoy the ride..

Holy shit, these are incredible mate!

(Some are photos, right!?)

Great job, well done!

Thanks mate!
Well, the only photographic part is the night city and the city you see on the left side of the first black and white image. I ended up replacing it with a mix of photos. Sometimes it's ok to cheat a bit :)

As a huge fan of the Case Study Houses program that took place in America between 1945 and mid '60s, I wanted to digitally recreate one of the most iconic houses: the Stahl House designed by architect Pierre Koenig in 1959, located in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles.

From the same point of view, I tried different light conditions and color grading to see how the shadows generated by the architecture and its surroundings affect the mood of the scene.

I was inspired by the black and white photographs of the master Julius Shulman, but I also added my own touch with the use of colored artificial lights to create an almost sci-fi mood.

Structural detail.

Hopefully the film rolls in the next picture are not burned by the sunlight..

Technical info:

Modeled with 3ds Max, a mix of iToo Forest Pack and Corona Scatter.
Some elements textured with Substance Designer/Painter.
Clouds from the Corona Sky.

The Virtuachrome 100 is a virtual 35mm film, the name of it is an homage to the glorious Kodak Kodachrome 100.

The film material was made with Substance 3D Designer including some of my bike renderings as photos.

The package of the film box and canister take inspiration from 80s Sci-Fi posters. Since this is a virtual 35mm film the graphic include some recognizable elments of the 3D world, such as the grid and the wireframe box.

The Lomo LC-Wide camera is a model I made a few months ago, it is his first appearance into a rendering! I'll share more of it into a new gallery soon.

A video and some behind the scene on my Behance page: https://www.behance.net/gallery/146311023/Virtuachrome-100-Cyberspace-ready-35mm-film

Hi everyone, this is my latest personal project, It's my first approach to 3D footwear visualization.
I  made a full CGI concept of the classic Vans Old Skool shoes with a touch of digital world elements like the led logo on the upper and the wireframe laces.

On my Behance you can also see a short animation (rendered with Unreal Engine 5) and some behind the scenes:

These are the still images rendered with Corona 8

Same here, spotlights always make my scenes to crash when undoing a movement.
3ds Max 2022 and Corona 7 HF1

I noticed the same problem of the CPU constantly dropping the usage while rendering. You can see it from the attached image.
This behaviour happens both on my personal workstation and on the studio workstation, with different scenes but same Corona 7 HF1.
It happens even on a simple scene with a plane and a box.

Please let us know if it's supposed to work like this, or there's something strange happening.
Thanks!

Hi everyone,

Do you have any suggestions about good websites to buy music to be used in commercial animations?
I know envato elements, but wanted to know if there are better alternatives.
Thanks!

dirty version of the bike.

In fact I have been about "requesting" exactly this for quite a time :)

Good Luck

In the meanwhile, here a quick test. But I want to make a really muddy bike :)

Thanks guys! I really appreciate your comments.
This encourages me to produce other images. I'm thinking about an "after ride" dirty version of the bike.
