Title: Convert physical material with self-illumination to a light material

The legacy material can do it with a click, please add this option to Physical, too.

Hey Mike,

We have this logged internally at (Internal ID=662280038)
I don't know if we're ever going to implement this as it was originally added only as a temporary workaround for another issue, but if this Feature request receives some traction, we will be happy to oblige.
