How to render "wire" only on the edges?

We have a client who wants something similar to this:

Is there an easy way to do this in corona? Or some plugin anyone knows about?
I'm guessing I would need to render some sort of wireframe-pass that somehow only affects the edges.

Used this software, it's a Japanese plugin for max. The operator has good control of line quality, with presets. Objects, groups can be assigned different type of lines.
