Sorry, I mean the 3DS Max autososave, which seems to be executed by corona when I do distributed rendering

Corona 1.3

Hi all,
I don't know if this topic already exists but I didn't find anything about it, moreover, I didn't see this option in corona render setup, SO, I'd like to know if it was possible to have an option for the autosave system with distributed rendering, 'cause when I work in agency with (poor) network, the autosave takes a long time for large scenes. It will be great to disable it especially when I make lots of previews.

Thanks

Ok, I think I found where the problem was: I used MultiTexture from CGsource to the floor, which should generate an aberation in gamma between PCs. I replaced by a Multi Materials / Material by element and the stripe disappeared ^ ^

For cons, the control is not the same, it's a little shame ...

I use the distribution from out of the alpha 6 (and it's great!) But on this scene, it produces a bug: a stripe appears and moves vertically as the report retrieves data slave.
I thought about a problem with Gamma but my two PCs have the same setting ..

Any idea ?..

(sorry for my English^^)

Hi Pablo,

I imagine that in your test you used a directional, which does not get soft shadows. This comes from the fact that ray tracing is unidirectional and therefore can not blur the shadows. In fact, in the reality directional doesn't exist :-). Try again with a spot.

Hoping to have helped you

I always use VrayHdri map in Environement map Slot even with Corona and it works very well and you've got all the stuff you need (gamma offset and rotation and espacially the intensity multiplicator).... all you need
