Exclude/Include Corona Scatter

(1/1)

Ahmad Kouti:
Hello.

Can we have an option to Include/Exclude ( for example ) Corona Scatter 1 from Corona scatter 2 when (distributed-on objects) is one object for both and the instanced objects are interfere. ?

maru:
Can you provide an example use case?

Is it something like this:

You have a ground plane. You scatter some grass on the ground and use a noise map for density. Then you scatter some pebbles and you use a different noise map for their density.
Then you want the grass only in the areas where there are no pebbles, and you want the pebbles only in the areas where there is no grass. No overlapping.

That's right, then my Objects should have a uv and an inverted texture in addition to the distribution texture.
The thing that i mentioned is scattering with corona scatter 1 and excluding the second corona scatter without using uv and textures.

Thanks for confirming. We will see what can be done here. :)
