I'm not sure if this has been requested already, but I didn't see it on the forum so I wanted to bring it up.

Merging files breaks any texture links of a Corona material and sharing files with other artists can be a time suck of relinking. Is there any plan to integrate C4D's method of making texture links mergeable/relative/absolute? Or am I missing something here?

If you're swapping models between different computers it's normal behavior. Usually they come with asset paths from original creators computer, so most of the time you have to go change asset paths.
I don't know of a good way to avoid this, but one way to make things easier is to use relink bitmaps plugin.

It's not between always different computers, it'll happen with just different scenes.
