Light RIGS do not exist, you just experiment and try to do everything to make it look good. Also it depends what kind of style you want to achieve.

One light rig for one interior will not fit the other one, if it will be unique to the previous one.

People who ask can you please give me your light rig it looks amazing, I want to use it for my interior/exterior. They do not know that it might not work for his unique project.

So always try to experiment. + with corona interactive rendering it became quite easy :)

Open EXR 16bit more than enough. Works every time.

32bit only if you need that and the software will support it.

But 16bit you will not have any problems with masking, speed, size and so on.

Been using this for a lot of years. :)

32bit is sometimes usefull for people who dont make the lighting work 100% in max (raw render) and then you can really play with different exposures in photoshop and collapse it to 16 bit. With 32 bit you will have a lot of info in the image you can go crazy with it.

I think contrast is too strong in the second picture, but the ones with overcast lighting, are very lovely!

Hello everyone,

I have one problem with corona and forest pro Object ID.

So I created a lawn/grass with Itoo Forest Pro. The grass geometry is custom made, but this is not a problem.

The problem is - when I pick Corona MASK element in the elements tab. I sed it to RGB and a checkbox on OBJ ID - which is 1-2-3. So in my case I right click on the forest pro object go to properties and put object ID as 1.

So my MASK element RED channel 1 should show the grass mask. But its rendering it in BLACK. Basically corona obj ID buffer does not see that I set 1 obj ID on the grass/forest object.

Is it that forest pro is not suported in corona elements or how does it work? Or should I just go on the object that I am scattering it and select the ID there first.

I am a bit lost. Please help :)

Very nice images. With lighting did you use is it HDRI or just corona sun+sky?

very very nice - just a bit too much noise ;)

A TIP  - if you want to keep detail take save one rgb without denoising and one with a strong/medium denoising. And in photoshop where the image is defocused blurred paint in that denoised image blend it smoothly with original. It will look better. You are not seeing any detail in a blurred areas either way.

Maybe its your scene or proxys or something in it. Thats causing the file not to open.

I am opening corona 2 scenes on Corona 3 just fine.
