anyone know why this might be happening (image attached)
it saves everything corrupted like this but looks fine in the render window while rendering.

every frame is saving like this. It happened once while using rebus, they refunded and just re rendered it. but now it seems to be happening on local machines?

But the Beauty looks ok? It could be this infamous max-bug. Try manually adding the elements: Uncheck 'auto add/remove element' and add them by clicking 'add'.

I'm pretty sure: It's the bug. Manually adding the RE to the exr- does this work for you?

Anyone can reproduce this?
Does adding REs to the exr itself help?

forgot about this post sorry. Removing all the elements and adding them myself again did resolve the issue if I remember correctly but I don't remember if I ever managed to purposely reproduce it.

It was a lot of light elements in that project in an attempt to have maximum flexibility in post. May have been a bad way of going about the project.

As I remember it, this max-bug is completely random. It happens in one scene- the next scene works fine.
