Rendering to the Picture Viewer first, then the Interactive Rendering is working for me. My scene has only two objects that I was using to test some materials. Before rendering to the Picture Viewer first, C4D just locked up and I had to force quit with the Task Manager (Win 10).

I may have some possible good news.

I rendered the file from my previous email on C4D R25 and Corona 8 (Daily Build Feb 2 2022)

No Crash this time. Yay!

I suspect that there may be a plug-in/extension on R24 that is causing the problem (I've got a bunch of them).

My R25 install only has Corona 8, Cycles 4D, Redshift 3.064 and U-Render as 3rd party render engines, plus some Rocket Lasso plug-ins.

I will try to get the R24 plug-ins sorted and will report back to this thread.

Hi Jan,
I have tested a new file and am having the same crash.
The file has been uploaded to your server.
File Name: 1644245940_Team-Render-Test-Crash-Files-020722.zip

C4D R24, Corona 7 (Hotfix) Windows 10, 64GB Memory

Attached to this reply is a screen shot of the crash.

6
I also tried rendering the same file with Corona 7 (Hot fix) on both machines and got the same error message/crash.

7
I'm getting a crash with the latest Daily 8 build (2022-02-win) see-attached.
C4D S24, Windows 10, 64GB Memory
The file renders OK on the local machine, but the crash happens during a team render using one team render client + the local machine.
I will upload the BugReport, Minidump and recovery scene to your server shortly.

Uploaded file name: 1644010802_Corona-Crash.zip

I tried to copy the Corona 7 folder from R23 to S24 and got an immediate crash on launching S24.

Try going to your Corona folder in your Program Files and see if there is an optix folder. If there is an optix folder, look inside and it should have  four files (see attached). If it does have all four files, make sure they all have the same date. If there aren't four files or the dates don't match, try deleting the optix folder (or just move the folder somewhere else)  and re-run the Corona installer using the custom install. Make sure the nvidia AI checkbox is checked. This worked for me.

[C4D] Resolved Bugs / Re: Nvidia GPU AI Denoiser Failure
« on: 2019-09-13, 00:34:52 »
I think I have the problem worked out. I went into the Corona folder (Program Files) and I can see an optix folder in there.
In that folder are the following files: cudart64_90.dll, cudnn64_7.dll, optix.51.dll and optix_denoiser.51.dll.
I copied optix.6.0.0.dll and optix_denoiser.6.0.0.dll from my Arnold install into that folder and low & behold I can now denoise with Optix and the error message did not come up (so far).
Yay!!!!

Do you mean the file that's labeled: NvidiaAiDenoiser. If yes, I tried that and it did not fix the problem. What is interesting is that the denoiser error message mentions that the optix.6.0.0.dll is missing. I did a system search and that file does show up with my Redshift and Arnold installation, but not Corona. So there's the mystery. Where does the optix 6 dll for Corona go? Did it not get installed and why not?
