In fact, WS01 is working with Max launched, the other one only with DRserver and no License server installed.

I think I solved the problem by installing a fresh hotfix 3.
Also, the scene is pretty heavy with a lot of displace & proxies, so I think it didnt helped sharing the scene through the network.
I have a bug on the list of connected slaves into the VFB, not showing any movment of RAM/CPU that's why I get crazy...

Hello,
I'm facing a problem using DR with 2 WS and 4 nodes.

Actually, I just got a new WS and adding it to my network just broken everything that was well running before.

No Node can connect to the Master WS01, and they also appear sometime connecting to WS02 IP (but no License Server on it) and no more to the WS01 one...
The WS02 DRserver cant connect to the Ws01, neither the nodes... but I can access everywhere through windows and eveything ping well.

Any idea why a new installation would have broke evrything ? I'm out of idea here...

Hello,
i'm facing a pb since some day, as you can see in the attachment.

I thought it was maybe coming from a plugin as PSD manager, as it happens at the end of the rendering, when 3DS is "cleaning" and before psd-manager compose the psd file.

But even without psd-manager, the rendering fails at the end.

Any idea ?

In fact I found the problem this morning, some PCI drivers wasnt nicely installed and they blocked smthg...
I just changed all my MB so I had to recheck all drivers.

After installing the PCI driver, everything run smoothly on every nodes.

my render nodes dont get the same amount of data when rendering, but they are all the same...

Is it normal ? Does it influence the render time ?

Hi there,
I'm having a trouble with an alpha RE.

The pass seems to be influenced by the mask of the blend material of the ground.
It's a common blend shader with a procedural map as a mask... nothing more.

But after opening it on PS, I get translucency on the ground...

Where does it come from ? I never had it before...

I dealed with it by reduce the pixel size & detach faces using displacement from the whole mesh, displacing only the visible ones.

Hi there, sorry for my late reply, i was trying to get some answers but unfortunatelly came with the oldschool teamviewer or vpn connection which they are pretty slow...
Althought what you have mentioned with the onedrive situation, if i understand well, is super! :)
So you say that making the same folders on one drive in your laptop and in your workstation keeps the same paths? so you can directly open it via distance? without the download situation? Thanks!

If you dont know how it really work, I advise you to go deeeper into network drives & how a network/path etc work to win some time in the setting ;)

Well done for defringe command, I forgot it as dont have this issues on Vray usually....

I never rendered with a black BG in other render (Vray, Maxwell...) and never got fringes using my method... weird to got them in here...

Also, when getting alpha through TIFF files from VFB, I always get this kind of white edges... see attchd

I paste the alpha, or get it from CTRL+clic on a layer into PS to get it from the channel, but I always keep this stroke... is it a bug too ?
