Best way to store separated models in 3dsmax

Hey guys i am newbie in 3ds and i want to know the best way to save separated models in files i mean i have modeled and textured using Corona and i want to store for future project ans with Merge feature to use in another scenes keeping Corona material data

Don't know if it's the good forum to ask these question...
Well there's a simple thing to do : select what you want to extract as a new model, and go to "save as" and "save selected".

i did not find another forum to post that what should be the right format file to keep corona material info?
