Title: Edit instances always changes previz type to boxes eventhough i use point cloud

Also it doesn't let me copy instances inside, is there other way i can do that?

Hi,

These are known limitations, current behavior is expected - preview instances as solid boxes.
You can only do the same transformations as in Scatter - Move, Rotate and Scale. There is no option to copy the instances unfortunately.
And you can only modify the transform of the instances visible in viewport, not the actual instances of rendertime.
