Title: Dissolve with previous image
Post by: Dalton Watts on 2020-06-09, 17:52:28
I'm not getting the use of this feature. Can someone please clarify? I don't notice any change in interactive rendering activating or deactivating it.

Hi,

This was how the IR used to function in earlier versions of Corona, to see the full effect you can enable this and disable subsampling.

We brought this back because a lot of users requested the old behaviour. So now you can choose which behaviour you like :)

Thanks,

Rowan

Oh, I get it. Much better with subsampling, IMHO. Don't even know why would someone turn off subsampling but i guess that's the only way to keep both users satisfied. Thank you again Rowan! ;-)

Yeah, exactly, some users liked the previous behavior more, so it was brought back. :)

Seems like the checkbox is here to stay ;)
