I'm a bit lost, i try to render trees but i only need the shadow on the ground.
Do you know how can i do? Is it possible to do this method with proxys or only objects?

I can't remember the name of this plugin....
With this plugin u can paint objects on surfaces et let them fall on the ground .
I remember that in the presentation of this plugin (video), they paint death skull, wooden branches...

I have the same problems with my computer.
_AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX
_Inno3D GeForce RTX 2070 Twin X2
_G.Skill Aegis DDR4 2 x 16 Go 3000 MHz CAS 16 (*4) 128GB
_Antec High Current Gamer HCG-750W Bronze
_MSI X399 SLI PLUS
_Corsair Hydro Series - H80i v2
_Windows 10 Pro
At the beginnig i had black screen during redering, i turned off 4 threads (so 60/64) in corona setting and it was stable during rendering but....
It was stable during 6 months and now, I have the black screen during denoising, even if it's low def (2500*1400).
It's a nightmare.
Do you know what can i do???

Hello,
I try to install the new corona. Everything is fine during the installation, no error message.
Back in 3dsmax, i try to open the material library browser and an error appears saying:
" material Library is not installed. You have to run Corona installer again to install it. Make sure that the library is selected for installation".
I did it, again and again... it didn't work. I work on C:, path has never change since the begining (corona2) so i don't understand.
Last thing, everything was fine with the material library and corona4.

Juraj, can u confirm this? Is it possible to have black screen due to a overheat? When it crash processor (2990wx) is at 68C° (coretemp software).
