The new DB includes Nvidia's AI denoising (which is limited to Nvidia GPUs) and will presumably be included in the next full release. Will this be replacing the current denoising implimentation or an option in the settings?

Nope, the original denoising implementation will stay for the foreseeable future. Both versions will co-exist side by side.

I guess the devs need to know your system and graphics card specs to be able to help. Useful reports are 95% of solving a problem.

Hi. Quadro 600 is a fermi card, and is not supported by the new denoiser. It needs a Kepler card or newer.

Hope it helps

Just tried the RC5 and am blown away with the speed and quality of the Optix AI Denoising when using the interactive renderer. Is there a way to use this denoiser for the production renderer as well?

Yes, just switch the denoising mode to "Fast preview (NVIDIA)"
