hey guys,
I am currently in the process of building a 3dsmax work station computer.
the parts I am planning to buy are:

CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2 2990WX
MB: GA-X399-AORUS-XTREME - Gigabyte
Memory: F4-3200C15D-32GTZR - G-Skill OR HyperX Predator 3200 Mhz cl 16 RGB - HX432C16PB3AK4/64 ( much cheaper )
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X
PSU: Corsair 1200W HXi
Cooling: Corsair H115i Platinum RGB
Nvme: ADATA 1TB SSD 3500/3000MB/s XPG SX8200 Pro
HD: Toshiba 4TB 7200 RPM X300 Series
Graphic cards  i am buying 3 used 1080TI SLI from someone that selling is mining farm computer parts cheap.

what do you guys think?
any bad experience with any of these?

I'm having issues with choosing the memory. For the memory the G-skill Kit are not listed in the MB QVL list but i think that they are Samsung B-Die that are recommended by alot of people for AMD systems and i want to be able to get decent speed for the ram.
I looked at this site to get information about the  F4-3200C15D-32GTZR kit to see if it is really B-die and it seems that yes they are. https://benzhaomin.github.io/bdiefinder/

the other alternative also not in the QVL list is HyperX Predator 3200 Mhz cl 16 RGB - HX432C16PB3AK4/64
but its much cheaper then the g.skill... 400$ for the hyper-x  and 800$ for the g.skill

Please let me know your opinion regarding these parts. would you choose differently? if so, why?
thank you all.

Hi zivmil

I recently built a similar spec 2990wx, the first thing is I wouldn't go for that cpu cooler as the base plate doesn't cover the entire cpu, the 2990wx is a bit of a beast. I believe the only AIO that does at the moment is the ENERMAX LiqTech II TR4. Theres a few options for air coolers, I have the Thermalright Silver Arrow tr4.

For the memory I spent ages looking through lists and ended up going for G.SKILL Flare X Series 64GB (4 x 16GB) 2933 cl14 F4-2933C14Q-64GFX

It cost £750 so it was not the cheapest, but uses b dies and everything worked straight from the box. For some reason they don't sell it in Europe so I had to get mine from newegg US. I have not managed to get my memory stable higher than 2993, that is the maximum if you go for 64gb+ so I wouldn't waste your money on higher clocked ram.

Theres a huge 2990wx forum thread that should contain all the info from various builds so its worth having a read through that.

As long as it's 2933MHz+ (and +/- <16CL) just buy the cheapest one that will work. (if it's on QVL, the better, if not, you can always try memory and return it to shops within 30days. Always test with latest AGESA update in bios !).

Saving 400 bucks is a lot of money ;- ) That could be spent on nice weekend ski vacation or better GPU, or even buying 128GB capacity instead.

Thanks guys so i gonna go for the cheapest 3200Mhz 64gb i can find... i understand from you that getting the Samsung chip gskill isn't worth paying double.
do you think the corsair COOLING gonna be bad? i can get the enermax but i see bad reviews at amazon and neweeg  saying this units leaks after a couple of months
if i go air cool i am afraid that all those big air cooling like the warith ripper gonna block my PCI-E and i want to put my 3 1080 TI in this system because i with render GPU 50% of the jobs
