Excellent work, well done +1

Sounds like you weren't particularly happy with either Photoscan or Reality Capture, but you ended up using Photoscan(?)

Looks solid,

I am thinking into getting into photogrammetry myself, are there any resources that are helpful for starting out?

What lens/camera settings do you recommend?

There are lots of videos with tips on youtube. Personally, I get my basic knowledge of photogrammetry from the one and only Bertrand. I perfected my skill over the years, there are things you get to understand only by trying and failing.

The scans in the start of this topic are done with Nikon D90 and a kit lens 18-105mm. So it doesn't need a lot of money to start with photogrammetry. The later ones from page 2 are with D850 and a prime macro lens 105mm or for bigger subjects a Zeiss Milvus 35mm. Some scans are shot with f8 aperture some others with f16(regardless of the diffraction adding up). Good luck!
