Has anyone had any luck with fixing this? it happened to me today, was using a HDRI and now it only renders as a black sky

just downloaded and tested around with it, its amazing, thanks. The only thing I am stuck on is there a way to add fog to the background? as to fake Arial perceptive?
thanks for the kind words.
And, yes it is possible to add fake aerial using 3ds Max native fog (not quite as good though). or using corona volume fog which is slow compared to aerial perspective. the other option would be using a custom shader for this which may take a while for me to write it (I know OSL and can write the shader, it is not that complicated but it not my specialty so I am a little slow in it)

I will have a test around with both of the ways you has said here and see what results I get. A custom shader would be amazing if in the future you could write one, im sure it would help alot of people out

[Max] I need help! / 3DS Max or SketchUp : Best for Archviz
« on: 2021-02-21, 18:24:03 »
I have recently got into rendering and working with corona as well as 3ds max.

For years I have used SketchUp and while in Uni and I have been exporting into 3ds max to render out the models. What would be better to get realistic results for architectural renders?

Would it be best to carry on with modelling in SketchUp and then importing into 3ds max or do I spend the time to learn modelling in 3ds max. I have a basic understanding of max at the moment.

Gallery / First Exterior Render
« on: 2020-12-11, 20:33:45 »
Very new to corona and rendering as a whole, but have lots of experience with modelling over years of university. Finally took the plunge into 3ds max and after some trial and error managed to create a small exterior render of a house near where I live. I know some of the sections do not have any material assigned to them, but I wanted to share this with the community to get some feedback and hopefully improve my skills.
