[C4D] General Discussion / VIDEO
« on: 2021-05-14, 19:28:23 »
Hello team, I hope you are very well.
I have a client who wants to make a video like this, and with this quality:
https://www.frato.com/

With Corona in Cinema 4D can I achieve this?
1920 x 1080
You have a rendering system in the cloud so that the renders come out as quickly as possible.

Who much does it cost?

« on: 2020-09-25, 17:44:11 »
Hello team, I am interested in using corona again, I have seen in the forums notable improvements, since I stopped using it a year ago.
I downloaded the version and I want to try it, but !! I get this when trying to render or use interactive render.
attached image and txt file.
this happens even with a simple scene of a plane, a sphere and a crown sky

[C4D] General Discussion / MONTHLY PAYMENT
« on: 2020-05-12, 16:59:08 »
Hello team, I hope you are very well.
Due to this situation that we are going through, several projects were canceled, and the economy is slow.
I wanted to buy Corona for C4D again, I would like to know if there is any possibility of paying the license on a monthly basis, as other render engines already do.
Thank you

Hello team, I hope you are very well.
This time I am writing to you because I have a question.
It is well known that the quality that Vray gives in 3D Max is superior to Vray in C4D.
For this reason, Vray users looked for other options or do long post work, to have a similar quality.

My question is: Is there the same with Corona?
I have seen works made with Corona in 3D Max that have a superior quality without the need for a post.
With Corona in C4D can we have the same quality?

this is a job that is supposedly done in 3D Max and Corona.

Can this quality be achieved with C4D?

[C4D] General Discussion / Intel Cpu AI Denoising
« on: 2019-02-21, 23:19:32 »
Hi, how are you?
I downloaded the latest version and it looks great.
Interesting the Intel Cpu AI Denoising.
I guess that does not work if you have a Ryzen processor?

[C4D] General Discussion / NORMAL MAP 2
« on: 2019-02-04, 21:03:49 »
Greetings to the group
I'm working on a product, beer, and I'm using normal maps to generate the drops.
But I see that the finish is not as expected, I do not get the detail of normal.

the texture charge in the normal CORONA canar, but it does not look good.

I did a quick test with the C4D engine and with Vray and the two give a good result.
What can be?

[C4D] General Discussion / Render times
« on: 2018-11-23, 16:30:21 »
Hello team, I hope you are very well.
I'm writing for the next topic.

The other day I had to deliver a render to a client of 190cm x 240cm
The work was done in Corona B2. noise level 6
rendering time 32 hours

For that reason I had to stop the render and change the render engine.

For the commercial render your work times will improve?
It's good to know that we can expect to have the commercial version.

Here I did some comparative tests on render times

Hi, how are you?

In several scenes when the lines are tilted in both textures
as in edges, a jagged result comes out.

« on: 2018-09-28, 01:51:29 »
Greetings team, I hope you are very well.
I am writing to you about a problem with the camera that I have had for some time
wear corona.
I wanted to know what I can do about it.
This is a job where the focal length is 50
but when rendering is not what you see in the program.

I hope for your comments
Thank you

[C4D] General Discussion / Sky and HDRI
« on: 2018-09-05, 17:40:59 »
Hello friends.
I have a doubt when I shine with Sky and with hdri.

For interior lighting when using sky we know that the portals
of light help to reduce the noise and the render time is short.

But!! when using HDRI sky the lighting portals do not work
to reduce the noise.
In this case we can do to not have so much noise and
download render time?

[C4D] General Discussion / Cinema 4d lights
« on: 2018-09-03, 22:53:06 »
Hello everyone, I hope you are very well.
I'm writing for a doubt.
When using the Corona motor, you can also use cinema lights
like infinite lights, ..... etc.?
Or only Corona lights should be used.
Thanks for your reply

[C4D] General Discussion / sRGB / LINEAL
« on: 2018-08-06, 18:26:00 »
Hello friends, I hope you are very well.
Here I come with a great doubt, which I have read but I am still confused.

In cinema 4D the color profile that comes by default is sRGB
As I understand for better results you should work to LINEAL profile

This works well with Vray, I wanted to know if it's the same with Corona?

My question is: should I leave the color profile that brings 4D cinema or change it to Lineal?

Here I show you 2 scenes with the different color profiles using Corona.
the post parameters are the same, only the color profile was changed

Thank you very much for your help
regards
