f-Edge

3dsmax keeps crashing when f-Edge is on a material.

you are right, but i use the Stack-Map..it is nice to stack bumpmaps.

Corona has built-in corner rounding. Just search under "advanced" in material properties. :)

seems to do the same as rounded edges, it seems pointless to debug this, as I would need to work with the plugin author. You can write a script to convert your old scenes.
