Hi

I am rendering out out a plan Shadow Study, and the plan View Ortho on in the camera settings , is not correct as attached.
Is this a bug?

I also found the view port , with a photo in the environment slot is not correct for montage work, the image is shifted, and squashed.

Easiest would be if you could attach the scene with the camera only - all objects deleted except the camera.

As for the background image: You have render size (or ratio) set to your background image size? And additionally "Show Safe Frames" (Shift-F) activated? And Alt-B is set to "Use Environment Background"? And scene environment is set to 3ds max environment? Really... the scene could help here :)

Good Luck

I find the standard 3ds max camera simpler when using ortho projection, have you tried that?

For some reason you have a pixel aspect ratio of 0.9 in render setup. Set it to 1.0 and everything is fine.

Additionally there are 2534 animation layers in the scene. You could delete them manually or

- use a cleaner script like http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/cleaner
- or this tiny one: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=17011.msg106638#msg106638

Thank you

How is the aspect Ratio .9, if the dims on the render are 1400 x 1400?
Odd isn't it.

I will run forensic on it.

Thank you

It's pixel aspect ratio, not image aspect ratio. Those two are very distinct things.
