Hello, I am starting this thread as a place to ask questions, report issues, showcase renders, and anything else related to Corona + Vantage!
As a reminder, if you wish to request a new feature, please see this forum thread.

As the first step, be sure to check out our Corona for Cinema 4D + Vantage tutorial:

We also have text guide with simple step-by-step instructions at https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/26743395447441-How-to-Export-and-Render-Scenes-in-Vantage-with-Corona-12-for-C4D

Hi Maru
It seems the perfect thread to ask a question I did the other day in the forum.
I was experimenting with the trial the other day and wondered if there was any way to animate textures in Vantage.
I read in a forum there is a way but I could not figure it out, maybe only 3dMax? if not is it expected in the future?
Btw, found out in my experiments with the trial, that the dropdown menus from the Animation time of the Sun (date, year, hours, minutes) were not able to see the input numbers because the left and right menus had fixed widths.

Best,
Luis

Hi Luis.lab, can you please explain what exactly you mean by animating textures? Do you mean animating their transforms (offset, rotation, scale) or some kind of animated texture effects like noise changing its pattern, waves on the water, etc?

Hi Maru
I mean like a television screen or a projection where the texture is a sequence of images or video.
A similar feature is possible in Enscape or Unreal, where we export the animated map within the material.
I sow this post where is possible in 3dMax, I wonder if there is a way in C4d.

Thank you

Thank you for the clarification and sorry for the delayed response. We are planning to have animation support in Corona + Vantage in the future, but for now, the best idea would be to log your feature request on our Ideas Portal:
https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/27701668531729-How-to-request-a-new-feature
You will need to pick "Add a new idea" and describe your feature request in detail.

In case of Vantage feature requests, simply pick the product which you are using Vantage with. For example, if you are using Vantage with Corona for Cinema 4D, submit your idea in the Corona portal.
