I understand, I would need to see the scene / lights in the oryginal to be able to tell you why it didnt translate to corona as good as you would expect it. The thing is that your materials seems to be a bit of the charts with reflection. But I cant really tell as Im not looking in to scene it self.

Its nice that you check corona, as Im testing it my self a lot.

This is pointless, as you may put each camera in to batch render.

Its just a perk that is not really that handy. It may be usefull at times, but is it worth spending time?
Im not the developer, but Im interested when would you exacly like to use this feature?

I belive Corona is capable of making same type of image, just as the one you showed. You just used unproper metod, can you share the scene for future tests?

Up.

Its a waste to create a new topic for each new render.

3508x2480 took as much as 5 hours, 32 sambles. About 100 passes.

Fire and trees are pasted in PS.

[Max] Resolved Feature Requests / Corona - Some Suggestion's
« on: 2014-01-14, 09:56:12 »
Hello

1. I have stumbled upon a nother "problem" its not that big deal, but I was wondering if there is a feature similar to "Render Mask" used for Vray.
After a long render, I waned to change one of my objects a bit, yet It required moving back to Vray for that one feature. Is there any chance you will make something similar?

2. Im often in need of rendering just a region on an object, marking the rgion in standard FB works fine, but it would be handy to have it in Corona FB.

3. I like that Vray Framebuffer creates separate spot/window on your windows toolbar, its handy. cFB is often hard to locate when there are fiew indows open.

4. Canceling the rander, does not save the image its logic. But sometimes when I have a lot of passes in the background and I decide to save the image, it does take quite some time to do that with each pass. Can you add a "Save All Passes to location" or even go further "Save all to PSD"? That would be a killer feature.

5. CoronaHair&FurMTL.

Hope any of my suggestions will help, have a nice day.

Corona is the #1

#Edit

2b. I forgot to add this, but sometimes I tend to be in position when I like the exaclt angle of my shot, yet I want to render only part of it in full rezolution cuting some of the things I dont like. "Full nativeresolution Region Render" with the proportions set via Common settings would be a nice perk. Its a "bonus" idea not something that would change the world, but I have seen many people try to do it on their own.

Very nice work, can you share some behind the scenes?

I would love to learn a bit about your work. Funny as Im working on quite familiar setup.
I relly like how, fresh and clean your light is, that always gives me a hard time.

Is there a chance you can share that window model? That would be really helpfull for me, I know its a lot to ask. But I really like it.
Or if you could direct me to the producents site, so I can get some more info.

Im suprized tho, because Im not sure how to get a realy nice soft reflections with gloss.

[Max] Resolved Feature Requests / Corona Pattern
« on: 2014-01-02, 15:03:48 »
Hello

Lately I was working on render for a company tht makes air vents and grids.
In my jurney I had to do closeups of some elements like grids it self. Modeling that would be too much of a waste, and using Displacement is not an option.

My problem was solved thanks to VrayPattern plugin, the problem it creates for me is that It does not support corona.
I think that default option of plugin, alike would be a great thing. So far I found that method extreamly helpful, but it forced me to stick to Vray, instead of continuing my jurney with Corona.
