Hi,

UV time...one of the most boring to do it specially in max...But, If you use the UV Layout, here is an great script to link tha max with UV Layout...
I think it's really usefull ! :)

And maybe this is good for testing the texture in Nitrous:

and tweeker for Nitrous:

Nice renders, and the colors is really cool for the cupboard ! Like it!

Tha bump is a bit too strong for my taste, but the dust on the older render looks really believable, nice. Maybe ju have to use some dust on the wall same, because there is the bump strong, and the dust have to layer on it...

anyway...

Could you share the details of dust mat setup ?

Cheers!

Hi Cyrus,

No, nothing yet...Just old scool...tweek..render...tweek...render...

Todays I'm just modeling and learn the right edge flow for Sub-D and ZBrush hard surface modeling techs.

Last model what I made I have textured in Ddo2 for testing that, but somehow to slow for me, not like the max.

Here is an good script for modeling. It's working with polys and lines, borders as well. Simple and perfect and after this you don't need to use the spherify modifier for right circle on geo. Loop tools is ok, but not working with polys for me... O_O

Cheers !

Well I think your right with the consumetions.
The last time when I looked around in the hardwear market, that was 2 years ago.  Mine Dell Precision was for me the best choice and the power management is really low. I'm mean not killing my budget at all! :D

Of course more procs more consumetion...But, you have to get idea...which is the most important.

Trust me if you want...Buy an refurbised Dell if you need an mean stuff for modeling, texturing, rendering ...and you'll be so happy ! Or...you must to tikk-takk in your mind...and you will make an mistaken with something wrong choice. It's up to only your budget...

Sorry pal, this is just my opininon.

Maybe stupidity...but for the render why not get some older i7 ? Maybe 3-4 pcs. i7 for the background render cheeper than the newest one...Basicly just motherboard, mems, processors...and...that's all ! :D

And don't forget to buy an Quadro for the wireframes ! Q2000 more than enought...for start... ;)

I think if you really want to achieve the phisically correct mats with reflect and glossiness, etc...there is the hardest but the "best" way to programming the shaders...like the big bosses...

Of course there you have to knows so much things deeper, than now...

Grant an nice guy, what he'd shared with the CG community is cool...but that's "only" the clue for the heaven's door...Maybe more than enought ! :D

So hard to find valuable tutors about more than advanced  event expert modeling methods. Specially for the right edger flow, poly flow...But that's what I'm looking for...

Well, maybe this is the reason why I started to get some courses for the ZBrush modeling...Faster, better and dry feeling ! :D
And the R7 will killing so softly ! :)

Just check this out:

Bye !

And now Corona mats added already!

http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/modifier-modifier-zorb

And this one is really cool, if you want to use vertex paint...Important script...I think...and if the result compositing  with dirt bitmap...than really cool ;)
