not bad for an old 2.4ghz q6600. No other renderer would handle it this well in this time.

great render, i see that you did the 3rd render in about 30 min, can you share your settings please? really nice result and noise free for interior with an old proc ( i have the same lol )

Sure, thanks. pt+hd cache (max sample intensity at 2 and hd cache max records at 8000) internal res at 1 and image filtering set to none. Rest is at default i think. I've rendered at 1080p and downscaled, so better solution would be rendering at 720p and setting internal res at 2 but at first I didn't intend to downscale it.

However what really helped here a lot was not using image filtering so I got sharp results right at the beginning of the rendering, even though I can imagine that in some cases this could introduce lot of aliasing artifacts, but still if it wouldn't suit final output it's a great way to do a preview at least, because it shows all the details of textures in the very beginning of rendering...
