Most likely your walls doesn't have thickness. Add shell modifier to your walls object or encapsulate it with simple box object with hole for window and those light leaks should disappear: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000516209-i-can-see-noise-in-the-corners-of-my-scene-

Was this scene created with Corona 1.5 version? Can you try to reset settings (either by temporary switching renderer to scanline and then back to Corona or by pressing dedicated button in render setup>scene>general settings) and see if that solves the problem.

If that doesn't helps, could you attach problematic scene here, so somebody could take a look at it?

This could be case of scene being created in Corona 1.5 which had UHD settings bug, and settings not being reset after application of 1.5.2 hotfix.

Alternatively, there is still some issue with how corona handles reflective caustics with UHDcache... but for some reason, it's has very low priority.

Yes, maybe is the bug mentioned before. Try to reset settings and see if it still happens.

BTW, two days ago I started a new scene with the latest 1.6 build and I found again the UHD cache value at 0.4... Should always be set to 1.0

Thanks for your enthusiastic, the attach is the scene which is created by 3dmax 2014 and renderer is corona 1.5.2.
I had try to solve tihs proboem for several days.

Yes, exactly as we suspected, you saved scene in a bugged corona version that had corrupted UHD cache settings. Resetting render settings makes the problem a lot less obvious. But it is still there, which reflects second sentence I wrote - Corona has some problems with the way UHDcache handles reflective caustics, resulting in splotches.

Attaching render of scene with render settings reset:

I've reported the bug. Let's hope it will be handled soon: https://corona-renderer.com/bugs/view.php?id=2382
yes,as you said,i increased the precision to 20 of the UHD Cache, the result is improved evidently.
So,that's expect corona renderer will solve this issue soon.
Thank you so much.

But did you reset your settings too? That's lot more important...

I seriously hope that this will end in a Corona version 1.5.3. We had also lots of problems with the UHD cache in recent projects. At the moment there is just no 1.5.x version where all the basics just work :-/

Good Luck

I wouldn't hold my breath on it. This behaviour is present since alpha versions. I doubt it will become priority to improve, just because Rawalanche finally reported it :]

If you compare scene(s) to Corona 1.4 you will see in many cases: 1.4 works, 1.5.x doesn´t. There is a huge difference especially with animation preset and not only with reflective surfaces. We haven´t had such problems with Corona 1.4 at all.

Good Luck

Based on Frood's and others' reports, we will definitely need to take a close look at how the UHD Cache performs in Corona 1.5, and how it handles some extreme cases specifically. I'd just like to assure you that the issue is acknowledged!

Ugh! So this is why I was getting all these garbage leaks lately! It was becoming really annoying :(

Not necessarily. It could still "only" be some v1.5 infested scene. If your UHD cache is set to 0.4 at the moment (thanks to romullus for the hint), it´s most likely that you can fix this by a reset of render settings with v1.5.2 or using string options, see https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,13823.msg90038.html#msg90038

From what I understand, only difference between 1.4 and 1.5 was that UHDcache settings corruption.

That other issue, with splotches on reflective surfaces, that one is present ever since Alpha. So if you have some worse UHDcache experience between in 1.5 compared to 1.4, and it is not related to the UHDcache settings corruption bug, then that is very strange :|
