Hello,
I am using Corona for some time and I am very happy about that. But I have one question about HDRI Corona. I want to use corona bitmap to load HDRI, but could not find opportunities to strengthen HDRI sun shadows, as it is possible with VRAYHDRI inverse gamma. Is there any possibility to achieve the same effect, but with a corona bitmap?

You can reload map with overriden gamma, would be the same i think, just a less convenient.

Thank you romullus and rambambulli for the answer.

It's working to reload map with overridden gamma, but very uncomfortable workaround. :) Colorcorrection map seems to be a quite neat solution! And don't affect render time. Thanks.

I have another question:

I'm trying to connect the coronabitmap(HDRI) rotating with the sun, but as writes corona (Enviroment maps are rotated by U Offset", I can not find "U offset" in coronabitmap wire. uvwOffset seems to not working.

Make sure you watch this tutorial first:

CoronaBitmaps uvwOffset controller is working properly. It is point3 controller, so you cannot directly connect it to float controller. First you need to assign point3XYZ controller to uvwOffset and then connect X controller (which controls U offset) to sun's rotation Z controller.

to use .hdr and .exr environment panoramas in the scene, should I import them with default 1.0 or override 2.2 ?

In max2014 and newer you should import with automatic gamma. In older 3ds max versions, choose to override to 1.0 gamma.
