Hi,
Is there a future plan for Chaos Group Vantage to support Corona Renderer as well? Or we will require to convert corona to vray and then use vantage for several years?

Hello,

I read from Chaos Group´s forum that Chaos Vantage will have support for Corona as well? Any info on the timeframe that this could happen?

Our office is currently using Corona as main renderer, but at the same time starting to shift to VR.
It would be great if Corona would have the option for that as well, so we would´nt have to choose another render system.

Best, Tomi

I would have to agree.
I just expect Corona and Vray to have the same standards now that they are under the one company banner.
I would go back to Vray for  their pace of development on other fiends.
The benefit on Vray seem to have more of a future.

It's not on the trello roadmap, so shall we presume it's not happening any time soon?

Would be a great feature! Honestly don't want to have to move over to Unreal

On the other hand, Vantage has a list of limitations and not all vray features (even shading) are supported, especially fakes. So if you build some scene, it is really good to limit the usage of some features from start to make the scene compatible.
For me personally, it was also hard to get sharp and flicker-free animation.
