Thank you both guys!
Nice lighting and composition. You have made a great job on that caustics, would you mind tell us a little bit more about those caustics? They look sick! :)

It's nothing crazy except a displace map and the right values on volumetric, the rest is done by the model.

I really like the fuzzy shading on the grass on the lower hill. Can you describe how you achieved this effect, e.g. is it geo, texture-based?
Sorry but the background is a real photograph edited to match the render :)

Opulence.

A tiny project focused on Corona Renderer caustics, because I never really had the chance to play around with it yet.

Thank you.
Hope you enjoy!

Can you let us know what version of Corona are you currently using?
I'm using the latest update.
I've tested several scenes and it only happens on this one. I haven't figured out yet what's causing it.

Hello guys,

I have a very simple and small scene, though it has a strong DOF and motion blur on geometry.
When I start rendering system uses about 5 GB(I have a total of 64 GB) for the scene and suddenly somewhere between 9-10 render pass it start going up 300mb each time and the CPU is going down to 5%. That happens until RAM hit its limit and the system doesn't really responds, though I can save my file etc. but I cannot stop the render or something.

I tried deleting stuff, I tried removing DOF/blur still nothing. Sometimes the rendering pass can reach about to 30-40 but the result will be the same.

Any ideas here?

Abbondanza a post vacation project.

A little project I worked for 3 days. Just a quick way to pull your wandering mind from summer holidays back to present moment.
In this project I used 3ds max, Corona renderer, Photoshop and After Effects.

Hope you enjoy!

serendipity.

During these difficult days, most of us creatives seek a safe space in our own home, one that exudes serenity but also provides us with enough stimuli to keep our imagination alive and running.
---
I envisioned this working as a home as well as a source of inspiration for a creative person, being clean as well as having a lot of personality in its details.
The idea was to create an elegant minimalistic space, full of bright natural light. I used natural materials, such as wood and stone, to give it an earthy feel.
---
The project title expresses my hope that things will change for better soon and we will be able to say we have gained something, despite the difficulties we now face.

In this project I used 3ds max, Corona renderer, Photoshop and After Effects.

Hope you enjoy!

And the reason you don't render true DOF, is because render times or flexibility of post?
Both i'd say, especially because I work that kind of projects not from our office but from my home pc which is threadripper 1950x OC so i do not want deadly render times and I change my mind every hour about f/stops :P
true DOF is fun though, you can play with blades etc. like the one below. Trying to make you feel dizzy

Really like your renders.
But why After Effects? What AE can do what Photoshop cannot do?
AE has better handling of 32 bit images than Photoshop, is my guess as to the reason why.

Thanks!
The only reason I use AE except there is an animation, is the Depth of field with a Zdepth mask

.ADAGIO.

I created a classical apartment to contrast the modern simplicity and colorful fabrics under some low lighting situation.

Dark & Moody are two words that describes this space flawlessly. Its something I wanted to do in my free time since I started working as 3D artist but I was never on the mood or had the time
and if you are already working on that field then you probably know that inspiration is just not there sometimes.

The sofa by BOSC, the armchairs and the low table by BuzziSpace makes you feel that warmth and relaxation feeling alongside the danish design idea.
On the other side the moldings and the gold bar trolley gives you the idea of a minimalistic art deco style which happens to be one of my favorites.

In this project I used 3ds max, Corona renderer, Photoshop and After Effects.

Hope you enjoy!

Thanks guys,
Just to answer some questions.

The main lighting is HDRI with some light-planes on some windows,
About the plug I guess you are absolutely right, never though about that
Does it really matters if its against the rules? I mean its your home, you can just not mention it or something. When you are in the 3D industry you are actually missing lots of real life stuff :P

Sin-cinnati

Sin-cinnati is the first commissioned project of TALL•E studio and it's a two-level apartment in the city center of Cincinnati.
The main goal was to make it look warm, friendly and modern at the same time.
One of the distinction of the house was the big openings
so we took advantage of them with as much natural light as possible

Our work is done using 3Ds max,Corona renderer and Photoshop

Hope you enjoy!

Hope you enjoy.
