Thank you Juraj,

I was focusing on the Dell too but I was curious on more opinions because Asus was half the price, no other reason

I'm now between these 2 monitors.

Funny story is that Asus is half the price but it seems like it delivers pretty good colors.
QHD vs 4k I don't think it makes such a huge impact in archviz industry, what do you think?
I rejected BenQ right before these two because of color accuracy

Hey guys, I'm looking for your help on setting up my new Dell U2723QE monitor for Max/Corona/Photoshop and Windows 11 in general. Right now, my saved renders are looking different from the VFB when viewed using the Window 11 image viewer or PS. They even look different in PS when pasted from the VFB. I've set my monitor color preset as Space/sRGB via the on-screen menu.

System Settings:

PS Settings:

Did you figure this out?
I'm planning to get this monitor too.

____________

My latest project goal was to design that Maditerranean style space but also use some different furniture materials than the usual rustic wood, linen etc.
B&B Italia ribes sofa was the choice for that.
____________

Software used 3Ds max, Corona Renderer., PS & AE.

Thank you!

Hello guys,

I've been searching for a new monitor. My main one so far is a Dell U2518D 2560x1400 but my secondary monitor is meh. So I'd like to get a new one for main and switch my main to secondary.
Do you have any recommendation? I wouldn't like to go above 27" because the difference will be too much and I don't mind going for 4k. Budget max 500 euro

Thanks in advance

Forgot to say that I tried everything we mentioned here, but the only result I got was that there were not so many black spots as before. Ended up fixing that in PS

Hi,

You have to enable devel/debug mode first to get those options. See

Good Luck
Thanks!

[Max] General Discussion / Caustics corona 8, black squares
« on: 2022-09-29, 12:34:25 »
Hello guys, I've come across this problem for the first time. I did search a bit and I found out that everyone mentions about Caustics Adaptivity in Performance settings, but on Corona 8 there is not such an option in Performance tab. Is it moved elsewhere? Thanks

Visualization & Art Direction:
Tall-e Studio

Client & Furniture:
Stillmade Brooklyn, NY

The main idea of Stillmade project was to design a space that will highlight the unique and handmade pieces of their furniture.

After discussion and research we ended up going for a neutral color palette and a sharp but bright lighting that will fit perfectly with their ideas of the new American design.

Software used 3Ds max & Corona Renderer.

Thank you.
Hope you enjoy!

General CG Discussion / Re: Prune-scene problem
« on: 2021-09-18, 11:08:29 »
Did you try to run 3ds max as administrator? If that doesn't help, try to contact developer of the script.
Thanks it seems like I was not using the latest update. I downloaded from his website the latest one and everything works good

General CG Discussion / Prune-scene problem
« on: 2021-09-18, 02:00:57 »
Hello guys, i did some re-installation of 3ds max recently and I can't get prune scene plugin to work, not even open.

I get an error every time I drag in the .mzp file "--Cannot assign to read-only variable: removeDir"

Any ideas how to fix that?

Is it just me or RebusFarm doesn't support distributed rendering so you have to render on only 1 node? Which actually takes much time
