I would like to request a feature when a material override is applied to the scene an option to exclude xrefs is available. This will save a ton of time for people that rendering composites. Think about it...

Any update on this. I want to be able to material override a CoronaShadowCatcher and only render a select object by excluding it from the override. Technically this will let me add graphics to an image sequence.

But I would like the material override to extend to XREFS. Most people use xrefs for complex scenes where they parse the environment, people and architecture.

Hi,

Currently, its logged in our system and it seems like implementing this is not very straightforward because it is one of the 3ds max limitations, but we may be able to do this in future. We will update you when that happens.
