You're welcome!

No major issues with Corona 12.1 for me, except for very laggy SME, which is bane of Corona since long times.

Hi,

In your setup the gap thickness is 6000 times smaller than the tile width and height, so it's quite natural that they're basically invisible. Also keep in mind that if your box object is smaller than tile width and height (600mm in this case), you won't see gaps either. Try to adjust the settings to more realistic values and you should be able to see preview in the viewport and final result in the rendered image.

Case solved by Frood. It was outdated tyflow plugin. Thank you for your invaluable help my friend! :]

#1 not sure what behaviour you're expecting here. If your viewport aspect ratio doesn't match with what is set up in render settings, you will end up with some empty bars either at the top and bottom or at the sides. There's no other way to "fix" this but to adjust the viewport rendered image aspect ratio.

#2 open render setup window, navigate to camera tab and press the edit tone mapping button, there you'll find all the tone mapping controls. Alternatively, if you're rendering through Corona camera, you can enable tone mapping override in it and control exposure and other tone mapping settings in command panel.

#3 render setup>scene tab - enable render hidden lights and you won't have to worry about sun when isolating objects. Be aware that it will make to render every light in the scene, even if they are deliberately hidden by layers.

To be clear, i'm not asking about situation when several different version Max instances are opened - i wouldn't reasonably expect that to work reliably. I have Max 2023 and 2024 on my PC and i want to have Bridge plugin on 2024, since that's the version i'm working with most of the time, but the Bridge installed it only on Max 2023 and there was no easy way to make it like i want. If your tool can handle this situation already, that's all that i need. I didn't tested your tool yet, since i have my issue sorted, but i certainly keeping it for the future because it doesn't look that Quixel is willing to pull their finger out of their ass anytime soon.

I have updated the app to ensure this sitution well handled. the app remove the connection for any version that you did not select on the app and install only for thoes you select.

Wow, super! Thank you very much!!

Thank you for this tool, i'm sure many will appreciate it! I wonder if it could help with situation when user has few different Max versions installed and Bridge is exporting to a wrong one? I had this issue myself and i remember having quite a trouble fixing it on my own.

Hi,

You can use Corona rayswitch material or map to control colour bleeding. Read more about that here: https://docs.chaos.com/display/CRMAX/Corona+Rayswitch+Material and here: https://docs.chaos.com/display/CRMAX/Corona+Rayswitch+Map
