I would still love to be able to exclude/include based on materials instead of geometry. Lots of my scenes have tons of light up bits scattered all through the scene, but they use the same material to drive their "illumination". Now I have to go through and pick them all one by one. This has been mentioned in the C4D feature wish list area a few times, but I'm going to rally for it here too :) - sorry to hijack the thread.
