That largely depends on what models do you have and how much effort you're willing to invest in promoting them. Do you expect that selling 3D models would generate substantial portion of your income, or you just have some leftover models from various projects and you'd like to put them on sale for occasioanl pocket money? Anyway, in todays market, it's not enough to just dump your HDD content to marketplace and expect easy money. You need to work pretty hard to establish and maintain steady income.

Currently, i find cgtrader to be the best in all regards. Turbosquid is second, but steadily dropping, due to its outdated/shady marketing policies and outrageous commissions. The only thing that keeps them afloat, is huge traffic. Sketchfab is most rapidly growing marketplace at the moment, but its content is slightly more specific, comparing to aforementioned marketplaces. If you're into gamedev, then there's specialized marketplaces, like Unity and UE4 stores. If you're willing to take all your content promotion in your own hands, then gumroad might be interesting to you. Other players are not worth attention IMHO.

Hey thanks for your replies

romullus I would like to establish steady income but for appropriate effort (as a side job to archviz). I find profit on 3dsky too low but still I think most of my sales come from that place

I am trying to specialize in plants/trees modelling

From sellers point of view, 3dsky makes very little sense, especially now, when there's no realistic possibility to get pro account anymore. My all time revenue from that marketplace, is less than i get from CGT or TS on a better month. I think high quality plants models should have high demand on all marketplaces, you just need to work more on your profile exposure, to move your models up in the search results and get things started.

Many 3d marketplace avaiable that provide better price for your hardwork and I mostly use CGTrader, TurboSquid and FlippedNormal.

CGIA3D also share a ultimate list of 3d model website that you should checkout right now.

Not sure about selling. But to buy 3d models I prefer Sketchfab. The main and only reason is their viewer which allows to fully inspect the model, it's mesh, UVs, Maps, all what is needed.
