Would it be possible to add exposure control for additional beauty passes in render elements? So we could save additional multiple exposures ( +/- 2EV for example) in one render?

Saving to a 32-bit format and changing exposure in post is not a valid workaround?

Theoretically yes, but there are situations when I batch render 10+ images from a project, so having this extra RGB passes would be a noticeable time saver. Also I am a huge fan of "non destructive" workflow. If the "bracketing" settings (+/- 2EV or 3EV for example) are burnt into a .max file, the possibility or a human error is minimized  :)

at some point in the future there will be tonemapping overrides per-pass, so this would be then solvable by using multiple beauty passes with different settings
