Scatter now has collision detection, which tests intersections with bounding boxes.
I wish this would go faster, but I have to do this in my spare time, around commuting to work for my day job.

So controlling scale by texture map has been implemented. So far it's only for the 3 axis's, not uniform in all directions. I will probably do that next, after I catch up on sleep, and stop falling asleep at work as a result of working on Corona. :)

This screen grab shows, for instance, Z-scaling determined by texture map.

Wanted to post some updated images showing the work in progress today:

Density map can now be assigned per distribution object.
And now the scattered objects stick to the distribution object through all it's rotation and move transforms.

This is a first peek at the improved scatter object, that is part of the Corona package.

The first task I decided to tackle was to make the scattering follow a texture map.

See the attached image:

It's taken a while since I have a day job, and I'm doing this in my spare time. I have lots of ideas for this one, but for today, this is a good first step.

My name is Chris Johnson

I am going to be helping out with updating the scatter tool for the Corona Renderer. As such I am going to need feedback on features as they get implemented.

Currently I work full for a day job somewhere else, so I will be devoting my off hours to this project. This should be a fun project, which I really look forward to.
