Hi,

I've made a search and didn't find that request.

I'd like my instanced objects to get the uv coords from the distribution object at the point they're located.

Very usefull do make e.g led panels.

This is not possible in Corona, because we cannot modify UVWs of individual instances (it would be possible to add UVW shader, but that is another overhead every time any mapping is used).

Would a map similar to forest/multiscatter color maps be sufficient?

Seems to be resolved in new Chaos Scatter, available in Corona 8 and newer.
