You say "new files" - saved LightMix configs can only be loaded and used into the same scene they were saved from, not into totally brand new scenes. (OFC loading it into the original scene it was saved from where that scene has been edited will work in most cases too, though if you have deleted, renamed, cloned, or added new lights etc. then your mileage may vary). Can you let us know if this is what you meant, or if you were trying loading the .conf back into the same scene it was saved from?

So there was some copy and pasting, but not entirely sure of that process - was that a Merge the scene in? A literal copy and paste as in CTRL C, close scene, in new scene, CTRL V? I can see how that might not work too as the "id" of the light will have changed in the new scene.

Instead of copy-paste, you could try starting a new empty scene, Merging things into that from the previous scene before adding any objects or lights or anything else, and see if the config will load and work then. No guarantees mind you, just a thought that it might preserve some ids or similar that LightMix uses to know what is what.

It works,
merging the file, the "render setting" checkbox must be checked.

Thank you TomG
