Hi All,

I have image aspect ratio of .078 output size 624x800...

dumb question, can i render an animation with this output ratio/size directly from 3ds max, let's say in avi?

.... i dont want to render 100's of tga or jpg to compile them AE with custom sized file.... it's not i don't want to... maybe there's more simple solution.

Why not go the image sequence route? It's very much recommended, because if anything goes wrong (power outage, crash, etc) you can pick up where you left off, or just re-render particular frames; if you render to an animation format direct from the DCC, you have to render the entire animation again, which can be a very long wait :O
