So, this is how it works in V-ray.

We can just select OX object, export to OX Alembic and import with V-ray Proxy

[Max] Feature Requests / ChangeWidth for Ornatrix
« on: 2020-09-05, 12:05:02 »
Hi, dear developers.

So we still waiting for the "ChangeWidth" modifier support. Please add it =) V-Ray already support it...

Thank you and have a great day.

Best regards,
Andrew.

Hi, dear developers.

So this will be awesome, if we can read Ornatrix alembic format in Corona Proxy, like as we can do in V-Ray Proxy.

Or it will be awesome, if we can export the fur or hair to Corona Proxy, like as we can do in V-ray or Redshift. Just select fur/hair object, click convert to proxy and done =)

Is it possible?

This feature will be awesome for users, which don't have the Ornatrix plugin and can render the fur/hair from users with it =)

Thank you and have a great day.

Best regards,
Andrew.

[Max] General Discussion / Re: Parallax Mapping ? :)

This is too big fake suitable for games, but not for realistic renderer. I won't implement it, use displacement instead ;).

Why do you think that this is a fake?

Fstorm released this and it is works and looks no worse than displacement. But rendered faster and etc...

Recently I recorded a tutorial with this awesome feature, maybe this tutorial will change your mind =)

Did you show some examples of Corona Distance with volumetric effects? :)
See: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000017221

Yes, I will do this in the next part =)

Thanks for the kind comments :D

A new image posted on the 'socials':

So much work has gone into Cyan Eyed to date, and a lot of detail can be missed. While not from any shot in the film, this teaser image is to show off the work done on the cloth materials.

Awesome result and good post work
