Has corona anything like "toon core" in the case of vRay?.

I need this finishing and I would love to know hwther Corona has something like that or not.

I've been reading in this section (I need help) a bit about a "wireframe shader" but I don't know if some kind of solution has been implemented by Corona in the latest months (the thread was a bit old).

Thanks in advance.

Jose.

The wireframe shader (CoronaWire) is implemented since ages. Can you post an example of what you would like to achieve?

Something like that.

The question is that I don't know whether this shader can show materiales, textures, and achieve a result like what you can watch.

I've made in the past some things with the core toon of vRay but I love to use Corona and it would be wonderful if I could achieve this result with Corona.

Once you use Corona, you don't want to use any other render engine anymore.

Thanks maru.

Jose.

Similar results is possible using falloff map with extreme setup, or with objects with flipped normals. I will try to show you an example today or tomorrow. :)

Something like that.

But this isn't rendered, your example is from Sketchup viewport, which can run realtime ;- ).

Trying to ray-trace what is basically flat, non-shaded with direct light overlay is quite counter-productive to say the least. There are so many tools that can output that straight in mili-seconds without any rendering. You can even write WebGL plugin like that in minutes today.

Dedicated toon shader is always nice though, just saw this examples on my Facebook today from Vitaly Bulgarov: [ Keyshot renderer's toon shader ]

Such perfect lines..likes almost like hand-done.

Wow. Is this a plugin for Blender?. I love the way of the trace, emulating the ink style, due to the dynamic thick of the brush.

I love it!.

It's hard for me to resist the temptation of installing Blender. It's amazing the result.

Of this is a representation mode for the wiewport as the viewport's stylized display modes in 3DSMAX?.

The fact is which I want to make an animation with this style and I think that with the previes mode and the stylized different modes of representation I could solve my compromise of my last job. No?. :)

ok, I am attaching a scene

you have 2 sets of objects in it:
-set 1 - only materials used, there are two materials you can apply:
mat 1 - light mtl, it has no shading (no reflections, no bump, no shadows cast or received)
mat 2 - corona mtl, casts shadows, you may use diffuse, reflectivity, bump etc with it

-set 2 - it is duplicated geometry with "flipped normals" faked in Corona:
it has mat3 applied - pure black corona mtl with front/back map in opacity slot

I also set secondary solver to none and max ray depth to 1 to make everything render ultra fast.

Have fun!
